TECH. POWERED BY RETAIL WEEK & WORLD RETAIL CONGRESS
Tech. powered by Retail Week and World Retail Congress landed at Printworks this September. The two-day festival celebrated leaders in digital retail and the technological innovations behind it. Set against the fantastically urban backdrop of Printworks, the event shone a light on the best and brightest brands in the industry.
With a huge expo space, a conference and awards stage, an after-party room and a separate outdoor area for street food, Printworks brought the industry festival to life. Over 2,000 attendees flowed in through The Vanway, which acted as a registration portal, before spilling out into HSBC where the main expo was held. Big technology players in the main room included Google Cloud, Klarna and Nosto.
Outside in Container Yard, KERB’s traders drew crowds with their mouth-watering selection of street food.
The Tech. Awards was held in the impressive Reel Storage warehouse, which features sky-high ceilings and almost 1,000 sq. m of space. It was here that a host of big brands and small start-ups received recognition for their technological achievements, before being ushered into The Press Halls for a well-deserved after party. DJing the party were musical icons Melvo Baptiste and The Shapeshifters, making the strikingly industrial backdrop come to life.
With over six acres of urban space and set in the heart of Canada Water, Printworks works for anything from public ticketed events to tech conferences and large brand activations.
