On Friday 24th March, to mark the launch of their highly anticipated new album ‘Humanz’, Gorillaz performed a secret one-off show for fans at Printworks, London.

The world’s most successful virtual band announced the release of their new studio album – set for release on 28th April – with an invitation to fans via Gorillaz’ socials to apply for the chance to win tickets to this very special performance of ‘Humanz’. The lucky winners were notified on the day of the gig and given directions to the secret location: Printworks London.

Gorillaz played the complete album live for the first time in a gig supported by Telekom Electronic Beats. The Gorillaz live band – Gabriel Wallace, Mike Smith, Jesse Hackett, Jeff Wootton, Damon Albarn, Karl Vanden Bossche, Seye Adelekan – were joined on stage by a stellar rollcall of talent including (in order of appearance) Peven Everett, Del La Soul, Azekel, Danny Brown, Kelela, Graham Coxon, Anthony Hamilton, Pusha T, Jamie Principle, Zebra Katz, Kali Uchis, Benjamin Clementine, Jehnny Beth (Savages), Noel Gallagher and Jean Michel Jarre.

The band closed this ‘’triumphant comeback gig’’ (NME) with several of their global smash hit tracks including the Grammy Award-winning ‘Feel Good Inc.’ featuring De La Soul, and Gorillaz were joined onstage by Del The Funky Homosapien for a storming performance of ‘Clint Eastwood’.
