Preview: Maya Jane Cole Presents. 🗓
British underground star Maya Jane Coles defines attention to detail. With a knack of maximising quality on all aspects of her production work, the London born and bred DJ has earned herself a unique reputation of blending musical taste and preferences, none other than influences from her half Japanese and British heritage. At just 24, Maya had travelled the globe educating crowds in over 30 countries, such as Panorama Bar in Berlin, Womb in Toyko, and Zouk in Singapore to name just a few. With this wealth of experience locked in her artillery, Maya has even graced the front covers of 14 different magazines in 8 different countries, another testament to why she continues to be one of the industries hottest properties.
It’s certainly talent exploring every crevice of her musical background that can be found in Maya’s carefully picked line up for the Maya Jane Coles & Friends line up at Printworks. Some of the finest ambassadors of predominantly British techno and the world over will be gracing London’s hottest new institution, in south-east London’s Docklands. Daniel Avery and his raw, unconventional sound will be joined with countrymen Max Cooper and Maribou State, with eager ears ready to engage in their talent. Other sounds feature the fresh talents of German ace Alinka and UK sensation Wax Wings, both expected to set the tone. Flying the flag for the States is Kim Ann Foxman, with her output reflective of her charismatic appeal. Other acts also include Drumcode veteran Alan Fitzpatrick joining the party, with the chief commander putting his experience into the mix.
It’s just over a month until the raucous party arrives at Printworks London on February 18, as part of the capital’s 12 week party programme. Check out Maya’s latest Boiler Room podcast below…
